Nigerian Senator representing Kaduna Central senatorial District at the National Assembly Uba Sani will be empowering first 100 out of 1000 beneficiaries of his foundation.
The beneficiaries, trained in fish farming and poultry production during the entrepreneurship and skills acquisition scheme, will benefit from the Federal Government’s Social Investment Programme meant to support Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs).
Sani, who was recently awarded ‘icon of societal change’ by the Nigerian Bar Association also, said his foundation will be sponsoring some students for the WAEC/SSCE exams.
“I believe we should be more deliberate and intentional about the educational progress of these very brilliant students and not allow their humble or less privileged backgrounds to stop them from contributing their quota to the development of society,” Sani said.
According to the Senator, the Uba Sani Foundation is consistently monitoring and supervising the progress of indigent and brilliant students.
