Reminisce Releases New EP “Sui Generis”

Nigerian rapper, Reminisce has released his highly anticipated extended play (EP) ‘Sui Generis.’

Sui Generis is Reminisce’s 7th project in a career that has spanned nearly two decades during which time he has reinforced himself as one of Nigeria’s most iconic rappers.

The seven-track EP features a lineup of talented artistes, including Vector, Bad Boy Timz, Logos Olori, Bard Banks, BhadBoi OML, Eazy Scope, and Lucid.

Sui Generis is a Latin phrase that means “of its/their own kind” or “in a class by itself”, therefore “unique”.

The new EP follows his previous album ‘Alaye Toh Se Gogo VOL. 1‘ which had guest appearances from Olamide, Mayorkun, BNXN, Oxlade, Dremo, Mohbad, and Odumodublvck.

Over the years, Reminisce has delivered notable hit records, a trend he continued on his last album with ‘Hustle‘ featuring BNXN and D Smoke.

Since making waves with his 2008 rap verse on 9ice’s ‘Gongo Aso’ album, the rapper has remained a key figure in the Nigerian music scene.

His early singles, ‘Ever Since’ and ‘If Only,’ catapulted him into the spotlight, as well as his acting debut in the Kemi Adetiba’s  directed film ‘King of Boys’.

He has received several awards and recognitions for his craft.

In 2014, Time Magazine recognized him as one of the “Seven World Rappers You Should Meet”.
