We have about a month before the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards. On Tuesday (July 23), the nominees were revealed.
There are a number of hip-hop artists with multiple horses in the race in this year’s event including the usual suspects. Cardi B, who has been hitting up the show circuit serious this summer, has earned four nominations in the categories of Artist of the Year, Best Pop, Best Hip-Hop and Best Dance.
Drake, who is working on new music following his Assassination Vacation Tour earlier this year, has three nominations for Song of the Year, Best Hip-Hop and Best Latin, as does Anderson Paak.
