Baby Boy AV Has A New Confession In The April Digital Edition Of Simple Magazine

After bursting into the music scene on the back of his unexpectedly successful hit “Big Thug Boys“, Afrobeats buzzing act Baby Boy AV has mesmerized the music verse with his unique style of Afrofusion.

Born Adindu Victor and raised in the ancient city of Benin, the 21-year-old lanky act sat with SIMPLE MAGAZINE for the exclusive of their April issue in which he made a confession time. From his “Big Thug Boys” statement hit to “Temperature” to the effervescent playboy “Confession” and to his year-ending extended play project, “Thug Love.”

Baby Boy AV confesses that he has only been catching fun all along. Now, he has a new confession: “I am only just getting started, and it begins with my upcoming album!”

Adorning a richly treated dread over a furry-collared brown leather jacket, Baby Boy AV oozed an aura of excitement over newfound intentionality. The interview cruises and swivels, accompanied by bursts of laughter from jokes at short intervals.

Baby Boy AV talked about starting music unofficially early on in life as he had immense inspiration from his music-loving father, a skilled guitar player. However, it wasn’t until 2019 that music became official for him with the release of highlife-Afropop fusion, “Big Thug Boys.”

He’s gone on to score multiple hits since then, including “Temperature” and the TikTok viral hit “Confession” before wrapping up the year with his first Extended Play project, the five-track “Thug Love“.
