Rising singer and songwriter Lucid whose real names are Victor Barnabas Nanribetmun is a singer and songwriter worth paying attention to. The artiste who hails from Plateau State but was born in Abuja started singing at the age of eleven.
The University of Jos undergraduate, music influence stems from life and the experiences that comes with it. Over the years, Lucid has worked with the likes of D YC, SBN and a couple of others. He also aspires to work with Asa.
The talented singer who is signed to O’ Records is driven by a desire to keep getting better. Lucid also says that his new song ‘Tatashe‘, was inspired by a personal experience.
‘Tatashe‘ is about a guy professing his love for a girl who’s supposedly his friend. The guy in question knows she has feelings for him and she is trying to hide it from him. It was inspired by a personal experience”.
On how long it took him to compose the song he says; “It took me twenty minutes to compose ‘Tatashe‘. My goal for the song is to spread love and positivity”.
