Meet DJ Fizzy: The Unstoppable Force Redefining Afrobeats And Global DJ Culture

From the bustling heart of Lagos to stages across Africa, Hafiz Olajunwon Agbabiaka, professionally known as DJ Fizzy, has built a reputation as ‘The Unstoppable DJ‘ a name that perfectly captures his energy, consistency, and musical ambition.

DJ Fizzy journey has been one of passion, innovation, and relentless drive. Inspired by his deep love for sound and his ability to feel rhythm on a deeper level, he transformed from a music lover into a full-blown professional DJ, Producer, and artist bridging the gap between African beats and global audiences.

Over the years, he has delivered an impressive catalogue of 14 singles, working with some of the biggest names in Afrobeats and street-hop. His early breakout came in 2020 with “Bad Boy” featuring Slimcase, CDQ, and Baddy Osha, followed by “Oh Oh Let’s Dance” with DJ YK Mule the same year. By 2021, DJ Fizzy had proven his versatility with “Why” featuring Candy Bleakz & Wb Sickah and “Rotate” featuring Kaydex.

The hits kept coming: “GBA 2k” with DJ YK Mule and Kennykings, “Surulere” with Jamokay, and “Banging” featuring Terry Apala & Faveboy Ryme all in 2022. But it was “Azulbike” in 2023, featuring Shoday, Berri Tiga, and Cheesy Vibes that became a streaming sensation, earning him widespread recognition.

His more recent collaborations, “Bur Bur” with Citi Boi (2024) and “Ngeke” (2025) a vibrant cross-continental mix featuring South African and Ghanaian talents K-zaka, Luigi Anywhere, Rufaro Rcrds & Ekow Saxx — have further solidified his global reach.

This year, DJ Fizzy took his brand beyond borders. After performing at Africa’s biggest music festival, NYEGE NYEGE FESTIVAL in Uganda (November 2024), he embarked on a South African Tour in 2025, lighting up clubs like Montana, LIV Big Steeze, Louis, and 360 Lifestyle in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

His next stop? A Qatar tour in December, with a week long showcase in Doha.

Back home, DJ Fizzy remains a cornerstone of Lagos’ nightlife and rave culture. He curates monthly events like “Chop Life Circle,” where he has hosted artists such as Fola, Shoday, and TML Vibez, and his electrifying “Rave & Afrobeat Sundays” at Wave Beach Lagos keeps the city dancing week after week.

His signature concert, “DJ Fizzy Unleashed Outside”, returns this December 12th, 2025, marking its fifth edition — a testament to his consistency and crowd power.

“Music is energy — it connects people beyond borders,” DJ Fizzy says.

“I want my sound to inspire creativity, bring people together, and show that the streets can produce greatness when given rhythm and direction.”

With several new singles on the way featuring Terry Apala, Raybekah, TIA, Optimist Music ZA, and Hero Boy from Ghana, DJ Fizzy is once again gearing up to dominate playlists and stages across continents.

Unstoppable, influential, and undeniably original, DJ Fizzy isn’t just playing music. He’s creating a movement.
