Remy Ma is making major moves, because word on the curb is that the rapper has inked a huge deal with one of the industry’s leading labels.
According to reports, the Hip-Hop star has signed with Columbia Records following a bidding war with several other label giants.
Columbia Records is the home to titans such as Beyonce and Adele, the Sony Music imprint will release her first solo album to be titled ‘7 Winters & 6 Summers’ which is likely a reference to her 2008-2014 prison term.
The news comes on the heels of a colossal year for the femcee; she earned a Grammy nomination and a Platinum plaque for Fat Joe collaboration ‘All The Way Up,’ won the BET Award for Best Female Rapper, and set the internet ablaze with Nicki Minaj diss track ‘Shether.’
