Chidinma Quits Secular Music, Turns Gospel Minister At 30

Nigerian singer Chidinma Ekile, best known for her award winning Afropop song “Kedike”, has has abandoned secular music to return to Gospel music as she turns 30.

In her own words, she wrote:

MY NAME IS MINISTER CHIDINMA EKILE. I’M A CRUSADER OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS. I’M A CRUSADER OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST”.

Chidinma also purged her page of all posts related to her previous music genre. The only posts on her page are in connection to her new journey, gospel music.

Chidnma rose to fame after winning Project Fame West Africa at the young age of 19 in 2010, she gained prominence after she dropped smashing singles like Jankoliko, Kedike, and Emi Ni Baller
