ECOWAS APPOINT NIGERIAN ENERGY ENTREPRENEUR, FOLARIN EDUN AS YOUTH AMBASSADOR

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has appointed yet another outstanding Nigerian youth, Folarin Edun as a youth ambassador.

ECOWAS knowing the vital role youths play in the development of West Africa, Africa and Humanity at large have designed this ambassadorship for young people who are change makers and doing well in their fields of life to drive the narrative and carry the torch of the new and glorious Africa.

Folarin Edun, a versatile entrepreneur was appointed as an ECOWAS Youth Ambassador for his consistent strides and exemplary service in Renewable Energy Sector championed by his company; Davotti Energy, based in Lagos.

Davotti Energy champions the course for a switch to green and renewable energy via consultancy and installation of solar panel and inverter systems on an industrial scale as well as small family level.

Folarin Edun and his team at Davotti Energy with their track record of renewable solution of solar and inverter system installations across homes, estates and companies across Nigeria continues to enjoy encomiums for their strides in their industry. This led to the recognition and appointment by ECOWAS as a youth ambassador to set an example for youths in championing the course for a greater Africa.

The appointment, which was announced in an official letter from the West African Youth Council, recognizes his laudable antecedents of commitment, hard work, and diligence in the area of service to humanity.

It reads, “We have seen so much about your person as a Nigeria young entrepreneur and your commitment to Development and empowerment of young people. We appreciate your philanthropic gesture towards humanity.

We have deemed it fit to honor you as one of our youth ambassadors with our youth council diplomatic plate number with certificate”

On social responsibilities, an ECOWAS Youth Ambassador:

  1. can empower young people through your initiative in partnership with the youth council
  • can partner with the youth council to give back support to the less privileges
  • has privileges to speak on behalf of youths and youth related issues across the nation and beyond
  • automatically serve as a life ambassador of the youth council, you will be granted audience at every meeting and events of the youth council.
  • will be invited to attend events on behalf of the youth council on international events across the globe and stand in for the youth council when necessary.
  • automatically becomes one of the faces of the youth councils on support to the youths in general.
  • has all diplomatic rights to use the title of ambassador of the youth council
  • stand in amongst others as the face of West African youths

Other appointed youth ambassadors are Prince Eletu, Seyi Tinubu, Innocent “2face” Idibia, Linda Ikeji, Ubi Franklin, Emmanuel Paddy, Moses Ikeahe, Olufemi Penzaar, Mr Scribes Raymond, Ikeahke Moses, Sowemimo Abiodun, and Rubson Ayobami amongst others.
