Akindele Justina Omowunmi known by her stage name Mz Kiss is a Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter from Okitipupa, Ondo State, Nigeria. Mz Kiss officially started off her music career in 2010, when she released her debut single titled “YOU GO CRAZE”.
Mz Kiss was previously signed to CAPITAL Hill Music, she has collaborated with Falz, Ill Bliss, Wizkid, CDQ and Niniola. In 2016, Mz Kiss was nominated for the Rookie of the Year at The Headies 2016 edition.
Mz Kiss is back with a new EP titled “Raised to Power 2”, collaborating with top producers; Sess who has a catalogue that features Falz, Adekunle Gold, Reminisce, Simi, Yemi Alade and lots more, Rexxie- Burna Boy, Naira Marley, Zlatan, Busiswa etc and Tspice- Davido, Runtown, MC Galaxy and so on, to deliver this 6-track project that is a rich blend of Afrobeats, Alte and Pop.
The first song on the EP titled “Fame,” is a melodious story about how she had once tasted fame, and the consequences of the pressures of fame. “Kilode” off the EP, Mz Kiss sings her heart out as she asks her man some important questions, then Farawe (Far Away), produced by Sess, showcases singing and rapping in both English and Yoruba. The other tracks feature What Is Love, Gbewa, produced by Rexxie, and Ife O Ni Baje, produced by Tspice, a love song revealing a bit of her personal life.
