Rick Ross has confirmed that his new album Port Of Miami 2 will be released on August 9. The album will be the 10th of Ross’s career and is accompanied by artwork that pays tribute to the rapper’s late manager Black Bo, who passed away in 2017.
Ross also dropped a trailer for the album. “When I realized I was really alive, I sat in a room alone. No television, no music, I just listened to my heartbeat. Can you hear it?” he says as narrator of the clip.
Two songs from Port Of Miami 2 have already been released, the Wale-featuring “Act A Fool” and “BIG TYME,” produced by Swizz Beatz. Last month Ross teamed up with Drake on “Money In The Grave,” a song released by Drake to celebrate the NBA Championship success of his beloved Toronto Raptors.
